Each year the PNHS has a teacher select a student who has shown interest in history. During 8th grade graduation an award is presented to two students.
2023
Commercial Township School (formerly Port Norris School), held their eighth grade graduation on June 12, 2023. It is always an honor to participate in the celebration and this year the Port Norris Historical Society gave awards to TWO students. The awards, named in memorium for our dear friend, Alvina Baum, were presented to Jayna Burns and Malachi Gilman For Outstanding Efforts in History for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
2022
The local eighth grade graduation was held on June 15, 2022 at the newly named Commercial Township School (formerly Port Norris School). It is always an honor to participate in the celebration and this year the Port Norris Historical Society gave awards to TWO students. The awards, named in memorium for our dear friend, Ethalinda Blackman, were presented to Liliana Hair and Art Ballata For Outstanding Efforts in History for the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

for the 2020-2021 Academic Year at the Commercial Township School.
Our award this year was in honor of our members David and Joan Robbins.
The Old Port Norris school is now closed and graduation was at the newly named Commercial Township School. June 10, 2020.
