Edith Peterson Robbins
b.1909 - d. 2014

AGE: 104 • Port Norris

Edith Peterson Robbins, 104, of Port Norris died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at home. She was the oldest member of the Port Norris Baptist Church, oldest member of the Port Norris High School Alumni, oldest alumni of Bridgeton Business School and Rowan University formerly Glassboro State College. She was an educator in Fairton, Commercial Township and Maurice River Township.

She is survived by her daughters, Rachel and her husband Ched and Edith Lynn, 4 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard S. Robbins, her parents, William B. and Emma B. Peterson, her brothers and sisters, Lucius, Sarah, Lizzie, Bertha, John Yates, Emma, Lida, Anna, William B., and Pearl.

Funeral services will be held at the Port Norris Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Haleyville Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Academy St., Glassboro, NJ 08028. Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman Funeral Homes, Port Norris.
