Margaret Louise Mints-Ogden

Married John Mints - he died

Married Alex Ogden around 1974. The church was all decorated from the holiday so they married in January 1974 as best Alex can recall.

She played the guitar and organ with her mother. See photos at the end of this piece. She was happy to help anyone who whated to learn to play. When she was very young she started out on the accoridian.

She had a love for animals.

April 3, 1971 Appointment as U. S. Postmasters

While working at the Post Office she would write letters to children in town from Santa and put them in the families mail.

Around town, The plquaes on the houses are because of her hard work looking into all the history. Her passion for the area and it’s historty shows in all her writings. She was a true historian.

Her husband Alex Ogden, did much of the editing and some typing and helping her organize all the notes. Here are some one the book titles. If you look you can find them used on different sites.

Obituary for Alexander Ogden III

ALEXANDER OGDEN, III 84, of Port Norris died Saturday June 24, 2017 at Court House Center in Cape May Court House. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander and Eleanor Day Ogden, Jr. and the husband of the late Louise Mints Ogden. Alex was formerly of Philadelphia, North Wildwood and had lived in Port Norris most of his life. Alex was a US Navy Veteran. He was a self employed carpenter and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his caregiver Eleanor VanNote. 

A graveside funeral service will be held at Haleyville Cemetery on Wednesday June 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Peterson officiating.
