Port Norris Histprical Society Mary Riley

MARY M. RILEY 98, of Millville went to be with the Lord on Monday August 29, 2016. Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes C. Chroscinski Kupsky and the wife of the late Samuel Riley. Mary grew up in Millville and lived most of her life in Port Norris.

She was a homemaker and a Cafeteria Worker for Haleyville and Port Norris Schools. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Norris, where she also served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years. She also attended Fourth United Methodist Church in Millville. She was a past member of Daughters of America, she assisted with Girl Scouts and enjoyed sewing and playing scrabble.

She is survived by her son, James A. Riley and his wife Roberta of Millville, daughters, C. Sylvia Crissey of Sharpsburg, GA, and Linda Keller and her husband Richard of Millville, brother, William H. Zanes of Akron, OH, sisters, Elizabeth Lee of Millville, and Sophie Cox of Valley City, OH, grandchildren, Cynthia L. Stidham, Stephanie Bass, J. Christene Frincillo, David Riley, Brian and Jennifer Keller, and Pamela Keller Harrell, great grandchildren, Jay, Jim and Dante.

She was predeceased by brothers, Edward, Leon and Vincent, and sister Anna Piper.

Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Port Norris Main St. & North Ave. on Friday September 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Haleyville Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
