Constable R. W. Chamberlain was in Bridgeton yesterday on business.
Jacob W. Liber arrived home from Chester last evening, where he has been in the interest of the oyster business.

Thomas Blackman, of E. C. Albertson & Co., of your city, was here yesterday looking for a building to locate in during the holidays for the sale of pianos and organs.
Mrs. Charles Whitaker, who has been indisposed for a week past, we are glad to state is able to be out again.
The fixtures for the Fidelity Trust Surety and Safe Deposit Company arrived by C. R. R. yesterday.
A gunning party consisting of C. W. Hand, James Morris and Edward Stites left here yesterday via West Jersey Railroad for Blue Bell, near Malaga, and hunted until the return train in the evening when they arrived well laden with game.
Stacy Newcomb, agent for the Provident Life and Trust Insurance Company, of Philadelphia, was here yesterday.
Our liveryman, Warrington L. Hand, has just received a very pretty new hack with the name "Maurice River Coach Line" which he will run to any part of the town to transport passengers. We will venture to say it is one of the prettiest in South Jersey.
Chas. M. Pinkard has been beautifying the appearance of Levi Robbins' house, corner Main and Market streets, with a coat of paint.

A branch of the Camden Fidelity and Trust Deposit Co's banking house is to be established here. The former post-office building has been secured for the purpose and is being fitted up.
D. T. Robbins has just received a fine new stock of dry goods and Christmas novelties.
Isaac Reeves has removed from North High street to John Garrison's House on East Main street.
Our new postmaster is going to put up three letter-boxes.
