From The Race Through Time Officials

The Race will officially begin on Wednesday, July 1, but that doesn't mean all sites will be open that day for a visit. Your best bet will probably be to call ahead to a particular site to see when they are open. Then, when you're able to visit, you will register and receive your guidebook (showing all the participating sites) and your passport. The guidebook will include all of the information on the days and times that the sites are open to visitors but we always recommend calling ahead just to make sure. If you sign up and visit at least eight of the participating sites, you will then be eligible to enter your name in a drawing for prizes! The last day of the event is Saturday, August 15, and the drawing will be held in September (on an as-yet-to-be-decided date) at the Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society museum.
